Born in Hertfordshire, Ben was born at an early age. He began playing the organ when he was 5 and under the careful eye of his Grandmother, he began to learn the art of organ playing.
Ben attended school at the John Henry Newman school in Stevenage and studied music as well. He and his Grandmother regularly attended concerts at North Herts Organ Society in Letchworth.
Having played Wersi all his life, Ben has been heavily influenced by the German mega stars Klaus Wunderlich and Franz Lambert, having seen them many times in concert, as well as home grown talent, friend and mentor, Brett Wales. Ben has owned a Helios, Spectra and now tours with his Wersi Scala instrument, bringing his Wersi sound to organ clubs up and down the country.
Ben is also heavily involved in running Wersi Direct LTD, importing and demonsrating the great Wersi products in the UK and attends many UK and International Festivals promoting these fantastic products.
Ben was given his first professional engagement at Keybreaks Festival in Bournemouth, 2009, and since has appeared at a host of UK organ clubs in 2010 and 2011, and is being booked quickly for his 2012 tour.
In his personal life, Ben lives with his partner Louise, in Windsor. Between them, they have 5 children, a dog, a cat and some kittens. Ben enjoys going away on tour, as he says it gives him a little rest!
