About Alastair

Alastair Kiernan is one of the leading electronic and theatre / pipe organists in the country. At only 37 he has already made a name for himself as a very highly accomplished and talented artiste.

Over the last few years Alastair has performed at many of the noteable theatre / pipe organ venues, which include:- The Thursford Collection, Turners Musical Merry Go Round, Blackpool Tower, The Dome Brighton, Dreamland Margate, Napton Nickelodeon, Abbey Hall Abingdon, The Plough Great Munden, St Albans Organ Museum to name but a few.

At the age of 18 Alastair was appointed as stand in resident organist at the prestigious Turners Musical Merry Go Round in Northampton.

Various broadcasts have been featured on BBC Radio 2, Manx Radio, BBC Radio Guernsey, Radio Leeds, Humberside and York, Radio Hereward and BBC Radio Cambridgeshire.

Performances are nationwide and include regular trips to the Channel Islands and the continent for theatre / pipe and electronic organ shows.

The latest shows have a presentation of the highest standard. Each performance includes mirror, backdrops, professional stage lighting, lighting effects and the amazing "YAMAHA HX1" digital orchestra. Alastair offers a very wide repertoire and selection of music covering anything from the light classics, music of the 20's,30's,40's, right through to the modern ballads and hits of today. A selection to suit all tastes and a show jam packed with number after number and superb lighting and lighting effects.
