Sarah Foley

Sarah Foley Sarah was born in 1988 and already has a wide experience of playing to an audience.

She has played at Yamaha's Showcase in Birmingham, weddings, children's parties, hotels, organ clubs, organ festival, private and charity functions.

She plays all types of music, as requested, and combines her music with some humour during her engagements. She particularly likes to interact with her audiences with a little chat and is quite happy to play for sing alongs, if asked.

She plays the Yamaha EL700 electronic organ and Yamaha PSR8000 keyboard in her solo engagements and performs duos on both instruments with her 13 year old sister, Adele, when asked - in the South West this is often.

Richard Shirt

Richard Shirt Hi My name is Richard Shirt, I'm from Barnsley South Yorkshire and I have just turned 18 years old.

I have been playing the organ for 7 years and I am tutored by Michael Farrar who is on the professional circuit. I myself have just recently turned professional and placing myself on the circuit.

The organ I play is the Yamaha EL700, I first had my debut with the White Rose Organ society Barnsley, which I am a member of. I have just finished college and awaiting University with my BTEC National Diploma I have just attained. I will be attending Leeds college of music or Huddersfield where I am going to study World popular Music BA Honours and I will be staying on for my fourth year to attain my postgraduate to Be a Teacher. Since I was 11 and I first saw my Granddad playing the organ and it fascinated me so I ask if he could teach my a simple song, then he decided I should have lessons with a family friend Michael Farrar. This is when Michael came to the conclusion that I had a flare and natural feel for music. So as the years went by I progressed and took it really seriously and I decided to take music as a career. After attending Kingstone Secondary School and leaving with 9 GCSE’s with a A* in music I took a BTEC National Diploma at Barnsley College. For the past two years I have played keyboard (Yamaha PSR630) in a band and explored different aspects of style of music. My personal favourite styles of music are Jazz, Big Band, Indie Rock and rock blues. As a hobby I also listen to these styles as well as ice Skate, Football and seeing my friends.
