About York Electronic Organ & Keyboard Society

The York Electronic Organ Club run monthly organ concerts with some of the countries top organists.  They meet on the 2nd Thursday of the month and visitors are assured of a wonderful warm welcome by their loyal and enthusiastic team.

Recently the club invested in some state of the art projection equipment including two cameras for close ups of the keyboard and pedals, as well as an overhead mirror - all enhancing the presentation and adding to the enjoyment of each performance.

Their venue seats 200 and offers level disabled access/toilets and ample free car parking.

Sadly, Mike Sadler, President and Concert Secretary of York Electronic Organ & Keyboard Society died on 22nd March.  Mike lost a long and courageous battle with liver problems, having had a transplant in 1999.  He will be sorely missed.  John Longhawn has now taken over the role of Concert Secretary.

Concerts start at 7.30pm

Membership:  £6.00 single   £10 double and family

Members admission: £4.00 (including refreshments in the interval)

Visitors: £5.00 (including refreshments in the interval)
