Graham Atkinson has built up one of the largest and finest collections of working steam Showman’s Engines, Vintage cars, Miniature Vehicles, Fairground Rides and Mechanical Organs in the UK which is now open to the public.
The collection houses the largest and finest mechanical fairground, street and dance organs in the country. Instruments by such famous names as Gavioli, Ruth, Marenghi, Decap and Mortier form only a part of the collection. Enjoy listening to the melodies of yesteryear or the hits of today on these mighty music machines.
Our wonderful collection of fairground organs wouldn’t be complete without vintage fairground rides to accompany them, so take a ride on the “Golden Galloping Horses”, whilst enjoying the music provided by these magnificent instruments.
The Scarborough Fair Collection is open on a Wednesday for our weekly tea dance, from 12.00 noon till 4.00pm and the music starts at 1.00pm. Refreshments and snacks are available from the cafe and group bookings are available.
The Collection is home to 2 superb Wurlitzer Theatre Organs, namely the Ex Granada, Mansfield and secondly, the Ex. Granada Greenford, Middlesex.
This magnificent & remarkable venue has already proved a hit with both concert goers and dancers alike and also offers fantastic and unique opportunities for hire. To date, we have hosted many weddings and corporate functions. There are not many places where you can have a wedding party in such special surroundings and where guests can ride on a carousel. The atmosphere is truly spellbinding!
