Our Venue |
The Society meets on the last Wednesday of each month but in December it is the second Tuesday in the month. The Society was originally formed in February 1982 by a group of enthusiasts who started to meet in each other's homes and membership grew rapidly. It moved to its current venue in November 2000 and currently has a membership of 130. As the name suggests, it is situated in the North of England on the North side of the River Tyne in a suburb of Newcastle. |
