Officials at Lincoln's Electronic Organ Society are just like one big happy family!  Especially since their annual meeting when internationally successful organist, Chris Powell, the son of current chairman Viv Powell, was appointed society president.

Retiring president Stephen Gooding held the position for three years, during which time he had been an employee at Fox's Music, High Street.  But with Mr Gooding moving to work outside the music industry, the society felt someone within the profession should take over.

Chris recently completed a successful seven-week tour of Australia, New Zealand and North America, and was for many years a dance organist at the famous Tower Ballroom in Blackpool.

The thriving society currently has 250 members who meet to enjoy a concert by organists of national and international standing every second Tuesday of each month.
