The Association of Organ Enthusiasts is a non-profit making nationwide organisation run by organ enthusiasts for organ enthusiasts.  Amongst our membership are members of organ clubs and societies, professional concert artistes and individuals from all walks of life.  We are able to draw on their considerable experience and expertise in the organ world to enable us to offer suggestions and advice to assist the less successful clubs and societies.

Back in the early eighties a group of music lovers, some organ players, some just listeners, got together to further their common interest. Such was their enjoyment, that they soon wanted to share their new found pleasures with others - the seeds for the A.O.E. were sown.  The Association was formed to promote fellowship amongst organ enthusiasts and membership is open to all persons wishing to support this objective.

Among members' benefits are a quarterly Newsletter and discounts on purchases from A.O.E. approved dealers, but - above all - you will be a member of the 'A.O.E. family' and enjoy the friendship and company of others with similar interests whilst supporting an organisation committed to promoting interest and awareness of organs and organ music and encouraging fellowship amongst organ enthusiasts by working alongside local organ clubs and societies.

Some organ societies welcome AOE members to their concerts at a reduced rate, upon production of your AOE membership card at the door.  Amongst them are ABC Electronic Organ Society, Belper & District Organ and Keyboard Club, Derby Organ & Keyboard Club, North East Derbyshire Organ Society, Riddings and Leabrooks Organ Club, and Crawley Keyboard Club.

Contact details for these clubs can be found at www.organfax.co.uk/clubs.html

Membership costs just £5 per year (this covers all members registered at one address) plus a once only joining fee of £3 per person registered to cover the cost of badge, membership documents and initial administration.

As a member of the A.O.E. you will receive our quarterly newsletter, 'In Harmony', seen here being assembled for posting by Stan Gande (Treasurer) and his wife, Joan, assisted by Jean Lomas

The Newsletter contains members' letters and items of interest relating to the organ scene in general

The A.O.E. set up and administers The Rodwell Memorial Fund in memory of the late, great Bryan Rodwell and his wife, Cynthia. Following Bryan's death, Cynthia began raising money for C.L.I.C. - The Cancer and Leukaemia in Childhood Trust. After Cynthia herself died, The Association of Organ Enthusiasts continued Cynthia's fundraising efforts by arranging concerts, raffles and other events which have so far enabled us to donate over £20,000 to this very worthwhile cause.
Pictured below are Jean Lomas and Diane Ingley manning the C.L.I.C. raffle stand at Sandford Park, Wareham, Dorset
